The Planning Division’s mission is to provide comprehensive planning services to create a balanced and sustainable city that contributes to a high quality of life for our diverse community.

The Planning Division administers the City’s General Plan and Zoning Ordinance, reviews development applications, and plans for the future of the community. The Division also staffs the City's Planning Commission.

We are the place to go if you are thinking of starting a new business, adding on to your house, or have any questions regarding the use or zoning of your property.
