Information about the Seaside Stars Ad-Hoc Committee:
- The Seaside Stars Committee consists of a combination of commissioners made up of C-Jobs, Art & History, and Seaside Residents. A maximum of two members from each commission and a maximum of five Seaside residents to be selected by the Mayor.
- Nine members have been appointed by the Mayor for the inaugural year of the program.
- This Ad-Hoc Committee will make recommendations to City Council on the design of the star and will assist staff regarding placement recommendations on Broadway Avenue for the first cycle of the program.
- The Committee will also be responsible for reviewing applications and making nominee inductee recommendations to City Council.
