Do you offer CPR training to the public?: At this time, the Seaside Fire Department offers group CPR training to the public on a quarterly basis.

1. Do you offer CPR training to the public?: At this time, the Seaside Fire Department offers group CPR training to the public on a quarterly basis.

2. Will you install baby / child safety seats?: Yes. Please call 831-899-6790 to schedule an appointment for the installation.

3. My neighbor's weeds are very overgrown and I’m afraid they've become a fire hazard. Will you check this out?: Weed abatement issues are currently handled by the City of Seaside’s Code Enforcement Department. They can be reached at 831-899-6731 and 831-899-6732.

4. Do you issue burn permits for yard waste?: No. The City of Seaside does not issue burn permits. Although some jurisdictions may seasonally allow outside burning, due to drought conditions and the increase of fire danger, CAL FIRE has suspended all burn permits within the State Responsibility Area and Local Responsibility Areas under contract with CAL FIRE, in San Benito and Monterey Counties. This suspension takes effect April 14, 2015 and bans all residential outdoor burning of landscape debris including branches and leaves. 5. Do you issue beach burn permits for bonfires, lanterns or fireworks?: No. Beaches in Seaside are under the jurisdiction of the California State Parks, and they prohibit fires of any kind on the beaches.
