The "LID FLIPS" are coming to the City of Seaside!
As a public notification, we want to remind the Seaside community that the SB1383 law took effect on January 1, 2022.
SB 1383 establishes statewide targets to reduce the amount of organic waste disposed of in landfills and mandates businesses and residents to separate organic material, including food waste, into the Organic Materials Container.
As part of this law, Blue Strike Environmental will be conducting random "LID FLIPS”, in which they will check the contents of waste containers and identify how customers can be supported in their waste disposal and sorting efforts. These random checks will be conducted on collection days.

¡Las "VOLTEADAS DE TAPAS" van a llegar a seaside!
Como notificación pública, queremos recordarle a la comunidad de Seaside que la ley SB1383 entró en vigor el 1 de enero de 2022.
La SB 1383 establece objetivos a nivel estatal para reducir la cantidad de desechos orgánicos desechados en vertederos y obliga a las empresas y los residentes a separar los materiales orgánicos, incluyendo los desechos de alimentos, en el contenedor de materiales orgánicos.
Como parte de esta ley, Blue Strike Environmental llevará a cabo "VOLTEADAS DE TAPAS" al azar, en los que verificarán el contenido de los contenedores de desechos e identificarán cómo se puede ayudar a los clientes en sus esfuerzos de eliminación y clasificación de desechos. Estos controles al azar se realizarán los días de recolección.
