Engineering
The City's Engineering Division is located at City Hall, 440 Harcourt Avenue. The Engineering Division plans and manages future improvements to the City's infrastructure, and performs related analyses for the City's existing system. Staff also manages regulatory permits and programs for the storm drainage collection system, as well as enforcing local, state, and federal water pollution regulations to maintain compliance locally.
Engineering staff can answer your questions about City infrastructure and design standards; City streets, sewers, and storm drains; regional storm water program, pollution prevention, and regulatory requirements.
Capital Improvement Program
The City's Six-Year Capital Improvement Program's (CIP) focus is capital improvements for the City's streets, storm water, sanitation, municipal water system, traffic signals, and governmental buildings. Annually, the City Council approves the budget for the fiscal year CIP's. Projects are funded through various funding sources such as the general fund, federal, state, & local grants, Seaside County Sanitation District, and the Seaside Municipal Water System.
Request for Proposals & Bids
The City of Seaside periodically issues Requests for Proposal, Requests for Qualification and/or Notices to Bidders for professional services. Public Works construction projects and Economic Development projects. Check the Bids & Proposal link for current projects or to sign up for notifications of future projects.
