City of Seaside Internet Payment Refund Policy
If you have made a payment in error, please contact the City of Seaside at 831-899-6825 to request a refund. Please be prepared to provide your contact information, the amount of payment, the date paid, and a description of the payment purpose. Once received, the request will be reviewed. If approved, the refund will be processed to the original payment card in 10 - 14 days. Any transaction fees associated with your payment cannot be refunded.
If there is any issue with approval of the refund, you will be notified by the City through the contact method indicated on the request.
City of Seaside Permit Refund Policy is as follows:
All building permits including Mechanical, Plumbing and Electrical will be refunded at 80% if a project has been canceled after the permit fee has been paid. If the price of a permit was mis-calculated a refund of the difference will be reimbursed. Partial refund requests, due to change in job description, will be considered on a case by case basis. Plan reviews are non-refundable. Once a job has started and inspections have been requested there will be no refunds.
