Seaside PAL Soccer Suspended for 2015 We are sorry to announce that due to unforeseen circumstances, Seaside Police Department personnel are not available to provide staffing for the 2015 Seaside PAL Soccer program. As a result, the program is being suspended for 2015. We hope to be able to offer the Seaside PAL Soccer program in 2016. We apologize for any inconvenience.
SEASIDE POLICE ACTIVITIES LEAGUE (SPAL)
The Seaside Police Activities League (SPAL) is a juvenile crime prevention program designed to provide athletic, recreational and educational opportunities for at-risk youth and to reinforce responsible values and respect. Such respect is beneficial to the youth, police officers, our neighborhoods and the business community. SPAL is comprised of police officers, volunteers and police personnel who serve as coaches, mentors, instructors and role models. Their devoted dedication and time is a vital essence in hopes of enhancing a brighter future for our youth.
SPAL was incorporated in February 2001. MPUSD & City of Seaside Parks & Recreation Dept support SPAL by providing facilities for its programs. Local businesses and individuals generously donate their time, money, and resources to help make SPAL successful.
