Monday May 22nd is the last day to register to vote to be eligible to vote in the City of Seaside's June 6th Election. You can register online at www.registertovote.ca.gov or in person at City Hall.
Vote By Mail Ballots for the June 6 Election in the City of Seaside were mailed out this week and should start arriving as early as tomorrow, May 11th, 2017. Unfortunately, due to vendor error, the Election Guides as well as the Vote By Mail ballots have the first and middle names of the registered voters inverted on the address line. The City of Seaside has consulted with the Monterey County Registrar of Voters and has confirmed that ballots will not be disqualified due to this error and signatures will be matched according to the voter identification number listed on the ballot. Vote by Mail ballots should continue to be signed with the same signature that was used on the voter’s application when they registered to vote. If you are a registered voter in the City of Seaside and did not receive your ballot, please contact the City Clerk’s office at 831-899-6707. The last day to register to vote for this election is May 22, 2017.
