Divisions


The Administrative Services Department provides a wide variety of administrative services to the residents of Seaside and to all departments within the City. The Department includes three divisions:
  • Finance
  • Management Information Systems
  • Risk Management

Services


Additional services of the Administrative Services Department include:
  • Negotiation and administration of the City’s franchise agreements
  • Oversight of the purchasing and contracting functions
  • Mail and copier services

Goals


The Administrative Services Department goal is to continue to seek to improve the efficiency and effectiveness in all areas of Administrative Services in an effort to provide better services at a lower cost.

Management Information Systems Division


The Management Information Systems Division is responsible for the administration of the City’s computer and telephone network and all related information technology projects.

Risk Management Division


The Risk Management Division provides risk management services for injured employees, citizens and/or property damage. Its purpose is to foster and maintain a safe and healthy work environment for employees and a safe City for the residents of Seaside.
